XRay Mod (with fly) is a modification for Minecraft 1.7.2 which enables X-Ray vision in your world seed. It enhances your mining experience by a great margin and allows you to find desired blocks easily with less effort. It works on both Single and multiplayer on any server you want. It filters all the useless blocks and comes with Nightvision for better view in caves and shafts. It is one the best most right now. The latest version is; X-Ray Mod 1.7.3/1.6.4

How to install X-Ray Mod for Minecraft

Windows Operating System

1. Open your Start Menu > Type %appdata%/.minecraft/versions > Press Enter


2. Open your modded Minecraft.jar with WinRAR/7zip


3. Delete META-INF folder


4. Drag ALL the “.class” files contained within Xray mod zip/rar file into the Minecraft.jar (replace old files)


5. Close all the windows.


6. Run Minecraft and check!

Tips and Warnings

• This mod does not require ModLoader.


• This mod changes .class files, therefore it is not compatible with some mods.


• X-Ray mod only tested on Vanilla Minecraft.


• Some Minecraft servers do not allow XRay vision. It is considered as cheat, so be careful.

How to install OptiFine HD Mod:

You can use Magic Launcher to install OptiFine or read the guide below:

• Download OptiFine HD Mod file (Jar extension) according to your game version.


• Use Forge installer to install Minecraft Forge. Run the game once to complete Forge installation.


• Now, Go to Start Menu > Type %appdata%/.minecraft/mods and hit Enter key.


• Move the Mod Jar file into the mods folder you downloaded in Step #1.


• Now open Minecraft Launcher, Select Forge profile from dropdown menu and click ‘Play Minecraft’

Tips & Warnings

• If you have previously used MCPatcher, unpatch all its features and revert to default texture pack.


• This mod is compatible with ModLoader, Forge and other popular mods.


• OptiFine may not be compatible with other Forge mods, so better install it on fresh copy of game first.


• Make sure you have latest version of Java installed in your operating system.
